Alaska Nasturtium
Every salad should have edible Nasturtium and Viola flowers in it! Nasturtium leaves are edible. Nasturtiums perform well in bad soil, but are comfortable in average garden soil that is not overly fertile. Nasturtiums are used for edging and borders and can be grown inside. These plnts will as well deter whiteflies, squash bug, and rabbits.
The Nasturtium Alaska, 'Tropaeolum minus', has beautiful flowers in shades of yellow, orange, mahogany, and cream with light green, marbled foliage.
