Arrowwood Viburnum Arrowwood Viburnum

Spread is equal to height. The habit is dense and multistemmed with arching branches. The foliage is glossy dark green, fall colours are yellows, reds and purples. An adaptable and hardy shrub, produces many suckers, which must be pruned back to keep the plant compact. It withstands high pH, heavy soils and various climatic conditions, some salt tolerance.

The Arrowwood Viburnum, Viburnum dentatum, is a deciduous shrub which usually grows 6 to 8 feet in height, reaching 15 feet under ideal conditions.

Blue Muffin Viburnum Blue Muffin Viburnum

Ble Muffin is more compact than other Arrowwood viburnum. This viburnum would be great in the residential landscape as a low hedge or a foundation plant. The white flowers make a great contast with the glossy green leaves in early to mid-summer. The intense blue fruit that inspired the name Blue Muffin appears in lates summer and fall. The blue fruit adds interest to the landscape and is very attrractive to song birds.

The dark, hairy leaves create a dark background to showcase other plnts.It displays a very compact growth habit.
