Giant Summer Snowflake
The pendant white bells have six equal petals tipped with a dot of emerald green. The multiple flowers dangle on 18 inch stems. The slender leaves grow outward in a gentle curve. Summer Snowflake is one of the easiest and most carefree naturalizing bulbs you can grow. Like daffodils, they can be grown under shrubs and trees that are leafless in the late winter and early spring.
The Summer Snowflake 'Gravetye Giant', 'Leucojum aestivum', a fall planted bulb, produces flowers that resemble the snowdrop, but with green tips.
