`Alan Bloom's' fluffy seed heads make it even more attractive. It is an improved form compared to other varieties in its species. It has a plant height of 30" with a spread of 36". Clematis `Alan Bloom' needs a supporting structure to grow properly but will as well grow over large shrubs. It is best to heavily mulch the root zone to provide this cool, shady area.
