Candidum Caladium
This fancy foliaged plant has green edges with pink and white centers. It is ideal for pots and hanging baskets on the porch or patio. Caladiums as well bloom, but the flowers are insignificant and they drain energy from the plant. Caladiums need protection from full sun for the best growth and colour. All parts of this tropical plant are poisonous, so caution is advised around children.
The Caladium Candidum, 'Caladium x hortulanum', are grown for their long-lasting, colourful foliage, and they are used in borders and beds.
