This plant is Monoecious which produce separate male and female flowers on the same plant. The Burpee Hybrid II Cucumber (Slicing) has cool, crisp flesh with great flavor. The cucumbers are best when oicked at 7 to 8 inches in length. Cucumbers have a shallow root system and therefore require regular moisture. Do not let cucumbers get too big because the vines stop producing if over mature cucumbers stay on the vine.
